That takes faith!  I have the faith He will take me exactly where He wants me to be in this life, and on this journey.  I must follow His guidance with everything though.  Upon seeing these verses, and thinking how this takes faith, I thought of how the sign that was lit up in the background that reads \"faith\" is so very appropriate.\u0026nbsp; \u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;\"\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;\"\u003EFaith in the Lord to direct my paths...I'll take it! What is your life? It means we should cherish the todays that we have, before they turn into our yesterdays. It is never my intention to take this great big life God has given me for granted. It's never even my intention to take the people placed in my life for granted. I want to soak every bit of this life up...the happy and the sad times, the big and the small adventures, and the people in my life who I love more than any of the treasures this world may ever hold. These people are one of God's many great gifts to me!  \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\nThis world has a lot of brokenness in it. Broken hearts, broken health, and even broken faith.  This world is not a completely perfect world. You know what, though?  Among this broken world I look to the Lord and through Him and the love I've been placed in...my God's love, my husband's love, the love of our children, and even the love of our family and friends I see the unbroken pieces...the solid foundation...the things I never want to take for granted. \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\nThe things and people I never want to take for granted...my husband...holding his hand, his sweet hugs and kisses, and even our date nights...our time together is always precious!   Our kids...their laughter and smiles, and just being their Mom is such a gift. Time with our family and friends, soaking in every single minute we can of life with them is a blessing. God is so good!  He fixes the broken pieces in this world with the journey He places us on...we just have to choose the right path, and not take any of it for granted. \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\nAs I type this I'm leaving \u003Ci\u003EDairy Queen\u003C\/i\u003E. My husband and I went there after we visited Urgent Care for my husband this evening.  All will be well, praise God!  We found out he has diverticulitis this evening, but God is our strong foundation, and He's awesome!\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\nWhile eating dinner (which my husband had to do for his medicine), we both noticed an older couple sitting next to each other in the booth behind us. The guy working there handed them one banana split, and asked if they needed two spoons, and they told him yes.  I want us to always be that kind of a couple, my husband and I. While I don't like bananas, I do love date nights with my husband. \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\nThis is just my thoughts, this Saturday evening. How the Lord can be our solid foundation, and those He places in our life is a gift. May I never take this for granted, and when\/if I do, may the Lord help me to always remember what gift this life is, along with everyone who is in my life. Reading Plan (I started this plan yesterday, to be exact). \u0026nbsp;I am one who tries to read my \u003Ci\u003EBible\u003C\/i\u003E daily, but sometimes I must confess that I have failed at doing this. \u0026nbsp;Sometimes I have let hectic life happenings get in the way of my being able to read God's Word the way that I need to. \u0026nbsp;While I love my life, and all of the stuff it includes, I must always realize that God must come first in everything! \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\nThe Bible Reading Plan I am reading right now is called\u003Cspan style=\"color: #274e13;\"\u003E \u003Ci\u003ELiving On Purpose\u003C\/i\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E. \u0026nbsp;I want to do exactly that! \u0026nbsp;I pray quite often that God will guide me to fulfill life with purpose...not my purpose, but \u003Cu\u003EHis purpose\u003C\/u\u003E. \u0026nbsp;I believe the Lord created each of us for a purpose, and I definitely want to live for His purpose! \u0026nbsp;Life can get so busy, and sometimes it is easy to try and live for our purpose, but my prayer is that the Lord always directs my footsteps, and\u003Cb\u003E \u003Cu\u003Eguides me on the path that He wants me\u003C\/u\u003E\u003C\/b\u003E.\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\nA verse from this morning's reading stands out to me:\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003Ci\u003EKeep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. \u003C\/i\u003E\u0026nbsp;-\u003Cb\u003EProverbs 4:23\u003C\/b\u003E (KJV)\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\nI love reading the book of \u003Ci\u003EProverbs\u003C\/i\u003E, because of the way that it instructs so well, it just makes sense!\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\nDiligence mainly means with constant effort. \u0026nbsp;Yesterday's Sunday sermon was a lot about love; how we should love others. \u0026nbsp;The above verse from today's Bible Reading Plan kinda' goes along with the sermon, I guess. \u0026nbsp;How we act toward others demonstrates how we feel about them...issues from and with the heart. \u0026nbsp;We should always love the way that God wants us to, and more so with actions than just with I feel after all our family has been through this year that God is shining down on us.  :)  It has been a very,very tough year, but there's nothing God can't do.  This light shining through the clouds reminds me that no matter how \"cloudy\" and rough of a time I'm going through, the Lord is my light in the darkness, He's my light shining through the clouds. \u0026nbsp;These past few months I've been dealing with a lot of grief from my parents, and I still am. The sunlight this evening reminded me though that when times are tough for me to look to the \"light,\" the Lord will see me through. \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\nAnyhow, Justin and I saw this beautiful sunlight shining through the clouds outside the surgical waiting room, while waiting on my brother to get out of surgery.  My brother has a long road ahead of him and is most likely going to have to have another surgery in about a month or two.  Our family is looking to the Lord for healing though. \u0026nbsp;We're looking to the it seems to sadly be becoming even more fast paced. \u0026nbsp;For example, a letter (or mail) used to sometimes take days to be delivered, and now we can just log onto the internet and it can be delivered (via e-mail) almost instantly. \u0026nbsp;Don't get me wrong, sometimes technology may be a good thing, but sometimes it can be not such a good thing as well. \u0026nbsp;It seems that as I get older (and I'm not that old, I am only in my 30's) the more I realize how fast paced the world really is. \u0026nbsp;Technology isn't the only way the world has become fast paced though. \u0026nbsp;Sometimes our schedules may become so filled up we feel like we have to literally run to get everything done. \u0026nbsp;The more fast paced the world is becoming the more I find impatient people dwelling here, and I WAS one of them. \u0026nbsp;The \u003Ci\u003EBible\u003C\/i\u003E tells us to be patient and longsuffering, if we are in a hurry, how can we be the one who gets behind the slow driver on the road. \u0026nbsp;Yes, I'm still doing the speed limit, but sometimes there is that person who is in the car in front of me who is just barely moving, and I am in a hurry to be somewhere. \u0026nbsp;These are the times I think of how I would like to be able to be like that person, no not be that person, but be able to be slower like the one who rushes her kids out the door on a school\/work morning. \u0026nbsp;I sometimes find myself telling them to \"hurry it up, and get in the car so we won't be late.\" \u0026nbsp;Then, to be honest, I regret those words. \u0026nbsp;Yes, I had good intentions, I don't want any of us to be late to work\/school, but I rushed my kids out the door.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"\u003EYou may be thinking so what is the big issue of rushing your kids out the door, but it is an issue, if\/when it is done. \u0026nbsp;Let me explain. \u0026nbsp;It's not just rushing the kids out the door, but the pattern that goes with it, and the result of it. \u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrike\u003EEverything,\u003C\/strike\u003E\u0026nbsp;Okay, maybe not everything, but a lot of things \u003Cstrike\u003Eseem like\u003C\/strike\u003E seemed like had the words \"hurry it up,\" to go along with what we were doing. \u0026nbsp; I then started thinking of if our schedule is really that busy, then it was hard for us to stay focused on what mattered most and keep our priorities in line. \u0026nbsp;If we were in a hurry, how were we being patient, and how were we able to stay focused on what mattered most. \u0026nbsp;Maybe life should still be busy, but not too busy. \u0026nbsp;I shouldn't rush my kids through life, I shouldn't rush through life, God has given us this gift of life, and if I'm rushing them out the door to school, or if we're always rushing in what we're doing, we are unable to really take the time to enjoy the time God gives us to enjoy.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"\u003ELife had developed the pattern of rush, rush, rush for us. \u0026nbsp;Not anymore! \u0026nbsp;I've made it to where, if it takes me two minutes or two hours, instead of two seconds to get what needs to be done finished, then I will do it at a realistic pace, and I will get it done in the time that God has allowed me to get it done in. \u0026nbsp;The word, \u003Ci\u003Ehurry\u003C\/i\u003E, used to be a regular word used in my vocabulary, but I have tried my best to eliminate that word. \u0026nbsp;I do NOT want to rush through what I am doing, because every single thing that we do is a part of our lives, so why do we want to rush through life? \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"\u003EI know I certainly do not want to rush. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"\u003EMy kids' school years is a part of their childhood and a part of their lives, and I don't want them to rush through it, and I don't want to rush through it, and that even means I don't want to rush them out the door to the car on school mornings! \u0026nbsp;I will take the time to stop, breathe, and enjoy life. \u0026nbsp;I will not rush my kids out the door to school, I will not rush them through life, and I will not rush life for our family. \u0026nbsp;Yes, sometimes I still find myself using the \"h word\" (\"hurry it up\"), but when I do, I find myself asking God to help me not to rush and to help me manage my time wisely. \u0026nbsp;My goal is to completely eliminate that word from my vocabulary, when it comes to everyday tasks and routines, I don't want to rush, I don't want to be in a \"hurry\" through life! \u0026nbsp;I find myself praying to the Lord to help me not to rush and not to rush my family, but to enjoy this time, that He has so generously given us. \u0026nbsp;Life is too short on this Earth, why would I want to rush anything? \u0026nbsp;I don't want to be in a constant hurry, I want to manage my time wisely, follow the Lord's lead, and enjoy life with my family!\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv this verse is dwelling in my heart is as my kids are getting older I realize how fast and how short time on this Earth is, and I don't want to waste it on things that are not meaningful. \u0026nbsp;I'm the kind of girl who thinks of my priorities the way a lot of others probably do as well; \u0026nbsp;Jesus first, then others (family, friends, the church, the community, etc.), and then myself. \u0026nbsp;That being said, family also includes my husband and kids so I always want to make sure I do my best for them \u003Ci\u003Eevery single day\u003C\/i\u003E.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"\u003EMinutes turn into hours. \u0026nbsp;With each passing minute I realize that what I've did with that moment, with that minute, it is gone, it is now a memory, and I want to make sure I make it a good memory, not as much for me as for my family. \u0026nbsp;I want to have good memories too, of course, but I want to make it as good of, if not a better memory, for my family. \u0026nbsp;There's no opportunity to take our yesterdays and relive them, no opportunity to take the what we should have done moments and do something else with those moments, there are only the moments that we are living now and the ones that are in our future. \u0026nbsp;I'm human, like any other person, I've made my mistakes, and some of my time could've probably been spent doing some things that were more productive, but I do try my very best to not make choices for today that will be a memory that I will regret tomorrow. \u0026nbsp;I want to be sure I am a part of my kids' memories, so sometimes my e-mails, the laundry, the housework, and my what seems to be never-ending to-do list needs to wait.\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: Verdana, remind myself as I head out the door to work of the mornings or as I drop my kids off at school on my way to work, to just slow down and breathe. \u0026nbsp;Life gets busy, and sometimes life is so busy I have to step back and think are my priorities still in line. \u0026nbsp;I've got to keep my\u0026nbsp;priorities\u0026nbsp;in line! \u0026nbsp;While there are days that could be better, there are many days that I feel are just amazing. \u0026nbsp;The days that I feel are a success are when I know I have my priorities that I mentioned earlier in line. \u0026nbsp;If I've had time to spend with the Lord (reading my \u003Ci\u003EBible\u003C\/i\u003E, prayer, etc.), if I've not put others including my family on the back burner, and if I've taken the time to do what is needed for myself, then I know that I've did what was expected of me for the day...I know that I've fulfilled my purpose for the day. \u0026nbsp;God gave me this life to live today and if I let Him direct my paths then I will not fail. \u0026nbsp;So when I am in the middle of a hectic day or when I finally lay down to rest at night and question whether I am doing what God wants me to do, I realize that I feel that as long as I keep my priorities in line with the \u003Ci\u003EBible\u003C\/i\u003E verse I just mentioned in mind, then my life's choices will be the best choices I can make and I am doing everything just
