It's interesting, and (sometimes) at the same time sad, how the world has become so fast paced, and how a lot of the world now depends on technology for a lot of what is done.  \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\nI remember there was a time when we used to have handwritten letters...there was pretty stationery and pencils and envelopes and stamps.  Receiving a letter in the mail used to take days, now it may only take seconds if you send it via e-mail.  There is still the handwritten letters that some have, but not as much as the e-mails, or now, even text messages, it seems.  \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\nWhile a phone call used to be made to talk to someone, a lot of times text messages are sent and received rather than having an actual conversation.  My husband said it great just the other day!  He said, \"in a world where there is all of this social media, a lot of the world is becoming less social.\" \u0026nbsp;It's sad, but true.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\nWe strive for our family not to be this way.  While we enjoy the electronics, and some electronics and some of the changes in the world are not a bad thing, we still try to limit the time we spend on our devices.  Family time and time with friends is usually far more important than \"liking\" someone's status. Actually liking someone's conversation, what they  have to say, actually hearing and listening to what they have to say about what is going on in their life is, a lot of the time, so much more important than scrolling through our social media feed(s). I started a Photography Assignment\/Challenge that helps to motivate me to take at least one photo a day.  It gives me a theme each day of what I should take a photo of.  It helps me to practice my photography, and it also helps me in documenting this adventure we call life!\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: help me with my photography even more, and because I love photography. \u0026nbsp;Today's challenge was a \"selfie.\" \u0026nbsp;I was not really comfortable with just taking a photo of myself, I don't know why...perhaps it's because I am more used to being behind the camera instead of in front of it. \u0026nbsp;I do realize though that this blog, this journal, it is for my family to remember as much of our lives as possible, and sometimes a photo of me may be necessary, so that would require me getting in front of the camera. tells quite a bit about who I am. \u0026nbsp;In this photo you can see my coffee cup; \u0026nbsp;I am a coffee drinking girl! \u0026nbsp;You can see my wedding band, my husband is my heart...he's my best friend...he's all of that and more! \u0026nbsp;You can also barely see my short hair...(long enough to style, but not too long to be aggravating to me). \u0026nbsp;You can see a little of my dimple. \u0026nbsp;Although Bre don't have dimples, our son does. \u0026nbsp;They both have the bluest, and prettiest of eyes ever as well (something that I don't have...blue While there one day, we found a marble.  This schoolhouse was ran back in the very early 1900's, so it was an old building. I have been blessed tremendously.  I am not sure I could ever list all of the many people and things God has blessed me with, but I am thankful for this life God has given me.  I'm so thankful, God is so good!\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\nYesterday, we went to church.  We worshiped the Lord, and praised Him for all of the goodness in our life.  Today, on this Monday, I praise Him still.  He is always worthy of our praise.  \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\nI have so much to be thankful for, and I am.
