So...anyhow...back into the routine of things...
Well kinda'...
The kids started back to school today, but they only go half of a day and then get out at 12:30 then tomorrow they will start a full day. Plus Justin will have a full work week this week.
As far as going back to school goes...the kids were okay with going back. Troy kept asking what day they would get to go back to school. Poor little guy doesn't really like school a whole lot this year, he has been having some trouble out of a staff member at his school but hopefully this will teach him how to act positively toward people who may act in a negative manner. His dad and I have stepped in where we think that we need to do so and if we need to take further action we will do so, but I am certain he will be happy to start the next year's school year off (as it will be in a different school...as only Pre-K and Kindergarteners go to the school he is currently at).
Yep, we are kinda' back into the routine of things after the holidays.

ReplyDeleteI know with my children it takes a full week after a break to get back in the full swing of things. Monday AM was a HARD wake up. But of course, mine are a bit older - 13, 17 and 18. 17 y.o. hs bus picks up at 6:35 AM! It wasn't that early when I was in HS.
