Teachers Gifts from Troy

Today, Troy decided to take gifts to his teachers to begin the school year. While his homeroom teacher got a card, a decorative frog (as she loves frogs), and a sticky note stacker (with sticky notes) in a gift bag, she and the other teachers also got bookmarks that were printed and laminated by Troy (with the help of his parents). :)

Photos of the bookmarks and Troy's note to his teacher (on the inside of the card):

While they each have many teachers, Troy's 6th Grade Home Room Teacher this year is Mrs. Deb and Breann's First Period 8th Grade teacher is Mrs. Perrigan.

I think they have great teachers and I really hope my kids have a great school year! :)

Mother's Day 2013

Mother's Day was great!  The kids and Justin got me a touchscreen laptop, Troy made me a card and a frame, and Breann paid for Mother's Day lunch.  We went to Church and I got a gift basket there.  During the weekend we also visited my Mom and Justin's Mom.  The weekend was great, the gifts were great, and the time with family was a blessing!  :)

My Mother's Day 2012!

This weekend was...blessed!  I was able to visit my Mom on Friday and we also visited my Mother-in-Law Friday evening as well.  On Saturday we (my husband, our kids, and I) went out to eat for my Mother's Day dinner, at an italian restaurant.  Today we went to church, where the church that we go to gave us moms a card with a CD with Christian music on it and then the kids in Children's Church made bookmarks for us moms.

My kids also made me these great cards (better than any store bought ones, in my opinion)!

Troys Message

Today we were walking out of the school as I was picking up the kids (where I was waiting patiently on both of them...and it honestly didn't take that long for the kids to come to where I was waiting) and Troy told me he was sorry it took him so long to come to where I was picking him up at, he then said the reason it took him so long was because he was making me this. A simple yet great message that made me smile...it said "Hi I Love you." :)

Awww...

The other day Troy decided he was going to give me a note.  Sometimes he gives me notes in different ways...he will make them into paper airplanes and fly them to me...he may even lay them outside of mine and his dad's bedroom door before he goes to bed at night so that we will find his note as we go to bed.

Such as one night as we were going to bed we found a note laying in the floor outside of our bedroom door.

To Mom or Dad, it read.  Please no waffles in the morning.  Then below what he wrote he had marked a X beside of waffles and made checkmarks next to eggs and bacon.

Oh...our little guy, yes, he does have a way of getting his point across, and I especially liked how he gave me this note the other day telling me he loves me.  What a great point to make to ones mother, right?  Sometimes we can learn so much from a child...like you can never say I love you enough...whether it be with words or actions or even a simple note...it sure made my day and I love him dearly!!
