Memories of 2008...

Okay, since it is New Years Eve it seems only right to highlight some of my memories of this year before going into the New Year. Some memories are super while others are not as good as I wish that they would be.

Let's see...

In January

We started off the New Year for 2008 by our little boy just getting out of the hospital (on New Years day to be exact) so that means this time last year he was in the hospital...this year, we are not in the hospital on New Years Eve looking for the New Year of 2009 so we are on the up and up and things are much better for us now as him and our little girl are over on our couch at this very moment looking at a book. So all is well!

In March

the daughter won her first talent show.

the 15th...we went to The Grand Ole Opry and saw Randy Travis invite Carrie Underwood (my daughter's favorite singer) to be a member of The Grand Ole Opry.

My niece Ashley's birthday party and us going to the bowling alley.

In April

And...this was around April (I think)...Troy decided his Dad needed some help doing the yard work.

In May
Breann's Gifted and Talented play.

The passing of our dog, Mason.

Mother's Day

In June

The kids first boat ride and our fun day at the lake.

Troy's Pre-K Graduation (can't remember the exact date...although I could probably look it was around May or Junish).

In July
Our fourth of July weekend vacation to Illinois.

In August

The kids first Day of the school year.

Troy's Birthday!

In October

Breann's Birthday!

Halloween 2008

In November
My Mom being sick and on a ventilator (for nine days) and then a miracle happened and she is now walking around!

In December

My husband's work's Christmas party.

Christmas 2008

Needless to say, there has been a lot to happen in a year. I am thankful for the many blessings that God has blessed me with!

I do love the list of everything your family accomplished during the 2008 year.

Isn't it amazing when you put it all down in writing how incredibly blessed you are? I feel the same way.
