Myrtle Beach Vacation 2010!

img6727twositepicWell vacation was pretty good, if I do say so myself. We went with our friends, Barb and Benjie and their kids. It was busy, but good!! :0)  It mainly consisted of hanging out at the beach and the pool, going shopping, eating out a time or two (our biggest meal was at Captain Georges)...and we also went to Ripley's Aquarium which was pretty cool.  We even got to see a dive show there (which I have included photos of in the Members Area). After the dive show the lady stayed around for photos...which was really neat!

Oh!  And...Troy learned to swim under water at the pool at our hotel while we were there...pretty cool, eh? Breann learned to swim a few weeks ago (she still has a bit of practice...well both kids do actually with swimming, but they are both doing great)!!

So between playing at the beach (building sand castles, playing in the water, and relaxing and then shopping and dining out with friends)...vacation was A-Okay!  :-)

We went to Myrtle Beach last year and LOVED, and I mean LOVED it so we are going back again this year.  We have our suite (with kitchen and all) booked...and like I said, we are in the process of checking off our lists and packing our bags.

Ahhhh...fun and relaxation here we come!!

Myrtle Beach March 2009 Cell Phone Moments...

You know those moments where you don't feel like carrying a camera...you just want to walk around and be a Wife and Mom and see life through your own eyes and not just through the camera...well that is when I pulled out my cell phone...when I thought I might just need a picture of these moments!

There are A LOT of pictures that I took with the regular camera, but among the ones that were used for the cell phone are the kids doing the trampoline bungee jumping, Justin and the kids at the remote controlled boats, and a pic. of the kids at the hotel.

See...here is the one of them at the hotel!

Myrtle Beach Vacation 2009, Take 2!

Well, we have been having a super time on our vacation and today was just as busy as yesterday.
Here are some of the memories that we made today!

The kids, of course, has been in the pool every single day and are LOVING it! They are also loving vacation so much that Troy even asked if we could go home the day after tomorrow, which, of course, is not possible, but it is great that they are having a good time! Our hotel's staff has been super nice and the guy at the desk even gave the kids sand buckets...how cool is that?!?
Anywho...today consisted of Broadway at the Beach and also going to Captain George's (a seafood buffet restaurant).

Broadway at the Beach...

Where Troy got to BUILD his VERY OWN car with the option of it being remote controlled (which he wanted). He built himself a monster truck!

Then...Breann built her own bear...well dog and named it Cup Cake and on it's birth certificate thingy she noted that she built it at Myrtle Beach!

Then at night we went for a stroll on the beach and also went to Broadyway at the Beach once again and got some beautiful pictures at Broadway at the Beach!

And one pic. for here!

Needless, to say it has been a WONDERFUL vacation, but we are ready to return home. Up and early in the morning, we are going to be doing just that!

Myrtle Beach Vacation 2009

Hello, from Myrtle Beach! Yep, that is right! I am sitting here overlooking the Atlantic Ocean as I type this out. Of course, it is night time and the kiddos are all bathed and ready for bed so I took a moment to upload these pics. I would've waited until I got home to upload these pics., but...we have dial-up at home and high speed here so...since we are sitting here RELAXING I thought now would be the perfect moment to do this!

Okay...first of all, we have did most of what is on the list to do...but we have been pretty flexible, after all, it is vacation!

Thursday we arrived at Myrtle Beach around 3PMish and enjoyed the evening at the hotel. After all this hotel is HUMUNGOUS...GIGANTASAUROUS or whatever...it has indoor and outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, an indoor sauna, raquetball, an exercise room, a bar (which my Mama would be proud to know that "No, Mom, I am not attending"), a restaurant, an arcade room that the kiddos (and Justin are LOVING), and even more! There is enough to just do in the hotel. We have a living area, a bedroom separate from the living room, a balcony (with a room on the 19th out of 22 floors), and a kitchen. Needless, to say we have been eating our meals outdoors, seeing as how we are right on the ocean!

Okay...Friday, we went to the Bass Pro Shop.

Then we went to Barefoot Landing (a HUGE shopping spot)!

And...then we went to the zoo and little did I know that we were right next to HUGE pythons when we were paying our way to get in the zoo...I almost cried I was so terrified!! After we got passed the pythons though...it was smooth sailing from then on.

After, we got back to the hotel...Troy had a nap and after Troy's very brief nap, we also went out to the beach and played a bit...

First, my husband went out and wrote our initials in the sand!

The kids tried to build a sand castle...until the waves came up on us and even got my flip flop and the wonderful husband that I have ran out and got it for me.

Oh! The flip flops and toe nails...mine and Breann's toe nails did all wonderful like!

The kids and us played around in the sand for quite awhile...and...

Well, now I am kicked back and ready to watch a movie that we just rented from the front desk.Tomorrow is another big day! It will be off to Broadway at the Beach and out to some nice seafood place.

Pics. from today...
