Mother's Day 2014

My Mother's Day couldn't have been better. I have been fed dinner, had nice things bought for me, went to church, and Justin and I got to spend time with our Moms. Most importantly though I got a lot of hugs, was told "Happy Mother's Day" a gazillion or so times, went on an evening walk with my daughter (something we've started to do regularly and I love walking and talking with her), and I got to see things like this photo I took this evening of my husband and son. Other than our Moms and kids this is the best gift my husband could ever give me...he's such a good husband and dad, and I love the way I can get a photo without them noticing every now and then. Look at how Troy just looks up to his dad! I'm blessed! These are my true gifts! I love my family! ♡

Mother's Day 2013

Mother's Day was great!  The kids and Justin got me a touchscreen laptop, Troy made me a card and a frame, and Breann paid for Mother's Day lunch.  We went to Church and I got a gift basket there.  During the weekend we also visited my Mom and Justin's Mom.  The weekend was great, the gifts were great, and the time with family was a blessing!  :)

My Mother's Day 2012!

This weekend was...blessed!  I was able to visit my Mom on Friday and we also visited my Mother-in-Law Friday evening as well.  On Saturday we (my husband, our kids, and I) went out to eat for my Mother's Day dinner, at an italian restaurant.  Today we went to church, where the church that we go to gave us moms a card with a CD with Christian music on it and then the kids in Children's Church made bookmarks for us moms.

My kids also made me these great cards (better than any store bought ones, in my opinion)!

My Mother's Day Goodies 2011

God gave us moms to love, to cherish and be fond of.


God gave us moms that are wise, to teach us, and make us have good lives.


God gave us moms to make us do right, and when we are sad to hold us tight.


God gave me you, you love me and I love you to!

This was the card Breann made for me ...the front had I {heart} U Mom and then this poem that she wrote inside of it.  Awww...melts  my  heart!!

On the inside he taped a pack of seeds and a little reading that says:

More Mothers Day Goodies...

Well, Troy kept asking me where I put his backpack so he could get something out of it on Mothers Day weekend...I tried explaining to him that I already had gotten everything out of his backpack.
TROY: Well, did you get a red paper out of it?
ME: No, why?
TROY: Well, there should have been a red paper in there because I made something for you for Mothers Day.
ME: No, Son, I am sure there wasn't any red paper in there. Maybe you forgot it at school.
TROY: Maybe.
Well, on Mothers Day he did give me something that was made with red paper so I thought that it was what he was talking about.
Although the Monday after Mothers Day...he came home with what he was actually talking about (the things he left at school and brought home on Monday). So I actually felt like I had two Mothers Days. =-)

Mothers Day 2009

This past weekend was a super Mothers Day weekend!
Saturday consisted of my husband and kids taking me to eat at Chilis and then Sunday we went over to my parents and gave my Mom her gift and went out to eat with my parents.

What the card says:

My kids are super and I love being their Mom. God has greatly blessed me with two wonderful kids and a beautiful family!

And...I am so thankful to have my Mom in my life and to have such a wonderful Mom!
