Well we have did it...my husband and I celebrated our ten year anniversary this past week and it has been a wonderful and very blessed ten years. My husband just recently became a deacon at our Church and I will never forget how he opened up the service on the Sunday before our anniversary. He began by announcing we would be celebrating ten years that week and then he had somehow without me knowing it jotted down a few notes for himself of verses about marriage in The Bible and he read those verses aloud.
To think we started out our lives at a vocational school in high school (I was taking Nursing and he was taking Carpentry). We were even married while he was a senior in high school and he was working a part-time job. He had no drivers license at the time (although now that has changed and he does more driving than I do LOL). I attended his high school graduation as his wife who was pregnant with our first child (our daughter). Our parents tried to talk us into waiting to be married until he at least graduated and while I understand why they were concerned as it probably seemed the odds were stacked against us to them (with him still being in school and all)...I am so happy we didn't wait and started our marriage off as soon as what we did. I wouldn't change a thing about our lives and our family has been and are very blessed.
I am a blessed person to be called his wife!
